Welcome to Write with Milo

Write with Milo helps students start writing, return to writing projects, and use support tools when they get stuck.

Reports focus on writing momentum: how students get started, stay with writing, use supports, and return to writing after getting stuck. Write with Milo does not grade, score, or evaluate writing quality.

• No student accounts required
• Teachers use non-identifying Writer labels, such as Writer A and Writer B
• Teachers create writing projects that students can reopen with the same project code
• Active projects autosave so students can continue across class sessions
• When a project is complete, writing should be copied into Google Docs or another school-approved application
• Completed projects move through a recovery window before stored writing is deleted

Write with Milo supports planning and first-draft writing. It does not replace teacher instruction, grading, or review.

What Write with Milo saves — and what it doesn't

Write with Milo temporarily saves student writing while a writing project is active so students can continue working across classroom sessions.

Student writing is used only to support outlining, first-draft writing, and continuation across sessions.

When a project is completed and copied to a school-approved platform, the writing content is removed from Milo after the recovery window.

Write with Milo stores non-identifying project and session information under Writer profiles such as Writer A or Writer B.

No student names. No long-term writing storage. No grading, revision analysis, grammar scoring, or publishing system.

Reports use non-identifying momentum signals such as time to start writing, writing engagement, and whether writing resumed after support.
